Don't miss out on the 'Back to School' market!
17th August 2015
The summer holidays are coming to an end, with retailers now targeting customers with Back to School products
As John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John sang in Grease, the summer days are drifting away and while the pair hopelessly reminisced about the summer nights, the brutal reality is that the start of a new school year is just around the corner.
What does a fresh school year mean from a commercial point-of-view? New uniforms, new shoes, new lunchboxes, new drinks bottles and perhaps even a trip to the barbers / hairdressers to look smart in front of that slightly scary headmistress.
It’s certainly big business considering that most of the above are necessities rather than luxury items, with companies looking for marketing displays that are going to encourage footfall from mums, dads and the children a few yards inevitably dragging their heels behind!
Shoe shops are generally hectic at the end of August and start of September, with some hard-wearing footwear required for the classroom and playground, while supermarkets are getting in on the act with cut-price uniforms that will withstand no less than 207 washes before starting to fragment.
And there’s nothing better for budget-conscious parents than to see a hairdresser advertising cheap “back-to-school” haircuts outside their shop, which is where HFE join the school-returning party.
We’ve got all angles covered when it comes to attracting the eye of customers, with our TrustPilot reviews illustrating that a range of businesses have found our display products competitive on price and successful in terms of generating that all-important profit.
Check out our cheap-as-chips PVC banners which start from as little as £13.99 and they are great for outdoor marketing providing you have somewhere suitable to fasten them.
Design-wise, you can your our free service to get the right look and feel before we make up the banners and get them despatched to you as quickly as you can say “woah woah, we gotta go back to school”, something that was famously sang at the start of Grease 2 (not as good as the original).
In addition to the PVC banners, there are a multitude of Banner Stands and Displays such as Roll-Up Banners, Soft Ground Banner Posts and Pavement Signs.
Pavement Signs are fantastic when your business is on the high street, especially if it’s a high street well-trodden by parents on a daily basis. Pavement Swing Signs are uber-stable and carry plenty of space to make your marketing message stand out loud and clear.
Without getting too technical, we have the Swinger 2000, the Swinger 3000 and the Swinger 4000 which are all super-easy to assemble, while the built-in wheels means it will take seconds to wheel the Pavement Sign in and out of the shop in the morning and at night.
While the kids might not be excited about going back to school, we’re looking forward to this busy time of year and helping you make the grade when it comes to boosting those numbers!
