I've committed to cycling a colossal 450km in just one week – through Madagascar, the world's 4th largest island, located off the East coast of Africa in aid of ENABLE Scotland. My challenge will start in the manic streets of the capital city of Antananarivo and then I’ll be travelling down dirt and stone roads mired with thick mud to the coastal town of Mahavelona. From there I’ll cycle on narrow, treacherous trails through highland villages, paddy fields and tropical fruit plantations in the searing African heat. This will be a hugely demanding physical challenge and any support you can offer will be most appreciated.
